Clipping have put out a video for their track 'Wriggle' off their new EP also called Wriggle.

CLIPPING (Daveed Diggs, William Huston and Jonathan Snipes) have put out a video for their track 'Wriggle' off their new EP Wriggle.

The video itself contains a mix of gifs from the internet, movies, TV and cartoons, all of which are short, repeating and manage to fit the subject of whatever Daveed is rapping.

The video was directed and edited by Rodney Ascher, the feeling that he's managed to convey in this video is similar to the song, it's faced paced with the gifs only lasting around 2-3 seconds before cutting to a new one and it's got a fitting lo-fi quality to it, all the gifs lack consistency with their aspect ratios, fps, video quality, etc, but this aesthetic fits the style of Clipping.

The video and song are great together, it really gives you some nice visuals and it also lets you see roughly what Daveed is rapping about, as he raps rapid fire on this track it can be hard to keep up.

Hopefully more videos follow after this one because Clipping have a knack for doing interesting things in whatever medium they are in.
