Live Review: Chiefs 'Demon' Ft. Beayz (Official Video)

Melbourne's CHIEFS has made a name for himself with his different strain of trap music, encompassing a certain emotional quality that is sometimes lost in the search for the perfect drop. That's all well and good, but it's Chiefs' ability to incorporate more lyrical components and exercise considered production that sets him apart from the rest.

We were pretty excited a few months ago when he dropped his Demon EP, featuring three huge tracks showing off just how much he has going on right now. Now, Chiefs has made us very happy again with the release of the accompanying visuals for his EP's title track. Teaming up with animator JiJi Sama, Chiefs said of the clip that he transforms into the "sword wielding badass anime of my dreams."

The clip is equally as epic as the track, and sees Chiefs taking a few demons to the cleaners with his trusty samurai sword. It's dark and shadowy, and is the perfect accompaniment to the heaving track. With the burgeoning bass line, the misty synths and the mysterious vocals from Beayz, the track gets wild pretty quickly, providing the perfect soundtrack for demon fighting.
