After announcing his debut album Hedonism will be out on October 21st, Cakes Da Killa has now put out a new video and single called 'Talkin Greezy'.

Cakes Da Killa has made a reputation through his mixtapes for having hard hitting raps with a great mix of wordplay, flow and delivery. In 'Talkin Greezy', Cakes Da Killa shows he has plans to keep his brand of fiery rhymes for his upcoming album by spitting pure fire bars on top of a beat that has enough bass to rupture a spleen.

Cakes Da Killa raps aggressively and his verses always manage to grab your attention due to the bars he spits and the sheer tenacity of his delivery.

The video cycles through different shots of Cakes Da Killa and a whole bunch of different people and things. The various subjects shown in the video project an aesthetic of Cakes Da Killa rather than tell a narrative, and it's a good choice overall as each shot is composed well and edited in a way that keeps the video from becoming stale.

The main thing that draws me in visually is the editing which contains a lot of shots popping up as an overlay on other shots to show several things at once.

I'm really looking forward to this album drop. If this single is any indication, it will be straight fire.
