Oslo based BLØSH serve up slices of electro-pop that aren't exactly your standard set of sounds. Funky guitar flourishes, intricate time signatures, serene vocals and upbeat pop vibes; they're unconventional in the best possible way, and their latest clip for their song 'Give It Away' goes to show just how much they prefer doing their own thing, and just how well they do it.
Focussing on three characters, this clip takes an intriguing look at the lives of fans and how disconnected some can be from reality. Each character is a fan of BLØSH (obviously), and each lead very separate lives, only to be connected by their shared - and very intense - love of the band.
Considering how bright and colourful the song itself is, it's only fitting the clip would match this, and so we have a video that looks like it's been taken straight out of a Wes Anderson film. Quaint settings, bright colours, rich backdrops - 'Give It Away' comes even more to life with this video, and is given even more fun textures when paired with these awesome visuals.
The band saw some pretty great critical success over 2015, and whilst there isn't any official word on future movements for them, we can't help but want more and more from BLØSH after this. We're just hoping they deliver, and that they deliver soon.
