Album Review: Voltaire Twins - Milky Waves

Milky Waves is a masterpiece that steps back into the '70s disco scene with a hint of the '80s and '90s beats.

The Perth brother/sister duo have created upbeat, energetic songs like This Is The Place and I'm Awake, while Modern Gore gives off a techno dance vibe. Tegan and Jaymes Voltaires' vocals are electric but intense in Black Beach, making it a standout. Mystery Flight has an intoxicating beat before You Are The End finishes the album on a mellow note. A year-and-a-half of writing was worth the wait, now put on those dancing shoes and move.
