"Track after track of infectious melodic hardcore."
There's a lot to like about Sydney stalwarts Vices.
First is their ability to churn out track after track of infectious, melodic hardcore that is completely unpretentious. Second is their thought-provoking lyrical approach that doesn't try and beat you around the head with pet causes but instead burrows into your cranium only to reappear at the strangest moments. Third? Their records just sound great. Not too shiny and not too buried in muck, the songs keep their aggression but incorporate production that clearly separates the sounds. In short if you liked 2014's We'll Make It Through This, this new album's 13 offerings won't leave your player for months.
