It's a celebration, bitches. The evergreen hip hop label Young Money, home to present-day royalty Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj, holds a mirror up to itself to once again to show why it's one of the most important labels of the genre.
Like any compilation, even one where artists appear multiple times (Wayne appears on five of the 14 tracks), the layout is slightly stilted. But when listening to individual verses by Minaj, Tyga and newcomer Euro – whose much-anticipated debut on opener We Alright is as good as anything on the record – it matters little.
