Initially and superficially, the whole premise of this album was questionable. Didn’t the Coen brothers already release a soundtrack at the same time as their movie? (And if you haven’t experienced either, go do that right now.) Another Day, Another Time… is anything but simply a revisitation. The captured moments of an evening in the NYC Town Hall, the revelry and celebration is purveyed wonderfully through adaptations from Keb’ Mo’, Punch Brothers and many more.
