Live Review: Two Can take on Benson's 'Step To Me'

Two Can are known for their groovy atmospherics and their remix of 'Step To Me' has them by the shedload.

Melbourne duo TWO CAN are absolutely killing it at the moment. Their latest track 'Holding Onto You' is being spread across the airwaves like wildfire and their smooth jazz-infused tracks are nothing short of perfection.

With so much focus being on their original mixes at the moment, it's easy to let a fun remix slip through the cracks, but we will not let that happen today! Two Can released an explosive remix of Benson's track 'Step To Me' and now would be the time to prepare yourselves for this amazing piece of music.

Benson's original mix of 'Step To Me' is full of deep synths and airy vocals that sound eerily hollow. The track is dark until a build takes us up into a drop of epic proportions. 'Step To Me' is definitely a club banger and the energy it emits is just way too infectious to ignore.

Two Can's remix is a banger as well, but its melody is a lot smoother than Benson's mix and has a fair bit of soul injected into it. The vocals remain airy whilst the beat is a bit lighter and slightly more tropical. A saxophone echoes behind the vocals before having its moment right before the chorus breaks.
