Melbourne trio TV Haze sound like a band that wandered onto the Recovery set sometime between Spiderbait and Something For Kate in the mid-'90s.
Highlights include Under The Couch, a distorted but relatively joyful indie-rock rumble, followed by Class Rules, easily a believable B-side for a Live At The Wireless release. For those wanting a bit more punch Dexter and closer Cold Walk Home are for you, while there's a cleaner sound and approach on Landslide. The band's distant vocals and hazy guitar gives the album its glue, but if you're wanting to dissect the lyrics you'll need to listen carefully.
