For sheer class and musicianship multi-instrumentalists Aidan Roberts and Daniel Holdsworth blitz the field at this year's Fringe Festival with an incredible performance of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells. The deeply progressive album is brought to life by the pair with the strength of a thousand octopi whose arm-brain intelligence they must have stolen to be able to play this way. Comedic value and stories entertain between movements and add gravitas to the piece. Breathtaking crescendoes abound in this marvellous slice of human achievement.
