Somewhere between country and folk lie the transcendental tones of Tim Chaisson.

Embracing the sweeter side of country music, Chaisson keeps all things pretty upbeat on Lost In Light. The Canadian singer-songwriter has been to these shores a few times now. Tracks like Crushed and Animal use a subtle approach to the verses and then burst into choruses that are infectious and perfect for his sweet vocal style. What he lacks in lyrical depth, Chaisson makes up for in melody and energy. Just listen to Bad On Me for a dose of his folky country roots.
