More Tigertown More Tigertown

Tigertown are certainly looking to make a statement with EP Lonely Cities.

Having been well received at SXSW last year, the Sydney four-piece — comprising entirely of family members — have delivered a big-sounding, lush release packed with summery pop anthems that should get them mainstream attention. Single Bullet From The Gun is a definite highlight with its big beats and light/shade dynamic while These Hands is urgent and has a big '80s-style guitar solo. The songwriting is strong throughout but the production is perhaps a little too slick as many of these tracks blend into each other. Still, 2016 looks very promising for Tigertown.
