More The Ting Tings More The Ting Tings

This time around The Ting Tings go for a funky disco feel as opposed to the quirky sound of That’s Not My Name, which was a big hit for them a few years back.

Here there ‘s a lack of irony and the disco grooves do get a little repetitive. The album opener and title track is by far the most accessible track. Each song is set up with sequences by drummer Jules De Martino, allowing singer Katie White to jam out. Unfortunately there’s little room to move, the songs at times not sound fully rounded.
