This unrelenting EP's title track immediately conveys the band's spirited, unpretentious pop, with its basic chord-driven format and punky essence. Frontman Wil Wagner's unapologetic Australian accent drives his off-key, shouted vocal style with power and charisma. Though Kids is one of the EP's most emotionally driven songs, casual swearing and a prominent bass line still results in a furious track that doesn't get too sentimental.
