Album Review: The Rides - Can't Get Enough

The record is as immediate as it’s nostalgic; perfect for a road trip with your old man or toking one on the front porch of a summer’s evening.

More The Rides More The Rides

Supergroups are strange beasts. They're passion projects for those involved that often leave the audience feeling sidelined. The Rides – living legend Stephen Stills (Crosby, Stills & Nash), modern-day blues hero Kenny Wayne Shepherd and much-lauded keyboardist Barry Goldberg – are an exception. On this enjoyable debut, they throw down eight shades of the blues, sprinkling in a selection of Neil Young, Stooges and Muddy Waters covers for good measure. The record is as immediate as it's nostalgic; perfect for a road trip with your old man or toking one on the front porch of a summer's evening.
