"A relaxed and groovy venture in hip hop, but will it stand the test of time? Definitely not."
Linguistically these songs may be fancy, but the efforts come across as convoluted jibber jabber on some feel-good beats and lacking a point.
If The Psyde Projects are digging for old jazz, funk and psychedelic vinyls to cut into their beats, doesn’t the credit really lie in those musicians who composed the music that is the foundation for these beats? Classic Stellar Overdrive (Part 2) takes its place as a relaxed and groovy venture in hip hop, but will it stand the test of time? Definitely not.
