Somewhere between the all-out assault of Sleigh Bells and the pop sensibilities of The Jezabels, you might find The Pack A.D.. Vancouver-ites – and Canadians in general – have been getting hard over the duo of Becky Black and Maya Miller for years, but even after five albums the band have yet to crack more mainstream acceptance. Shame. Black channels Jack White, Miller harnesses Keith Moon, and between them they show that hook-laden rock'n'roll ain't just for the boys.
