Live Review: THE ORB chill out in '5th Dimensions'

After announcing their newest album COW / CHILL OUT, WORLD!, The Orb has now shared the beautifully ambient '5th Dimension' as their latest single.

This track features some great minimal and ambient music that highlights a certain depth as you listen closely, filled with little details that reveal themselves slowly (and at times over multiple listens). The main melody is nice and peaceful and the rich background makes this track great for either background music or something to listen to closely to hear every detail.

The track is simple upon first listen, yet grows in complexity as its mood shifts for the listener. I'm interested to hear what the full album will sound like, which will hopefully be out very soon.
