Single/opener Like This is definitely the highlight of the EP, with its understated, chime-driven melody and brooding tone. Put Me Out also impresses with some clear '80s flavours; pounding drums and a strong, emotionally laden build. However later tracks are too screechy due to grating violin sounds, such as those in the overly serious Medicate Me, which succumbs to forced drama in its off lyrics: “I need my medication/To medicate me.” The Night display some clear art-rock instincts and definitely appear on the verge of brewing something special, but this just isn't there yet.
