Live Review: The Mole remixes Nitin's 'Sunday Grey'

Toronto underground house label No. 19 has premiered a remix of Nitin's "Sunday Grey" by The Mole.

Toronto underground house label No. 19 has premiered a remix of Nitin's "Sunday Grey" by The Mole.

The Mole a.k.a Colin de la Plante reworks the original with deep layers of synth, and evolving slivers of samples that build a complex and somewhat chaotic deep house groove.

The remix forms a part of Nitin's Sunday Grey EP. The release is an in house affair for No. 19 with Nitin being co-owner. Label boss Jonny White aka Art Department also takes the reins on another remix of 'Sunday Grey' on the EP.

No.19 Music has been going back to its roots recently, bringing to the fore a steady stream of incredible underground house music from Toronto. They closed out 2016 with the standout single, ‘Full Circle’ from Art Department in collaboration with AD/D, seeing support across the board for the return of Jonny White’s much loved moniker. However it is the long standing partnership of White & Nitin that is the true central pillar of the No.19 story, and their latest collaboration on Sunday Grey is testament to their success.
