Album Review: The Last Internationale - We Will Reign

Look, the late ‘60s and early ‘70s was a pretty amazing time for rock. But do we need this many throwbacks to that sound in 2014? Get your own sound, Last Internationale – this one was perfected decades ago.

We Will Reign is an okay album of retro, vintage rock. Nothing more, nothing less. But when their website claims they “pick up the torch carried… by Bob Marley & The Wailers, Nina Simone, Public Enemy, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Rage Against The Machine and hundreds more”, they’re basically begging to have a star or two knocked off the album’s rating.
