It is always exciting to see an artist spring to life out of nowhere, but never more exciting than when the attention is truly deserved. TARA CAROSIELLI is one of these artists. Fresh and polished, 'Leave You Lonely' is her auspicious debut.
The South London musician dropped 'Leave You Lonely' a couple of months back, and a stream of success has already followed. Growing up with a love of music, the young artist started making her own music at the age of 17. Vulnerability and sensitivity swirl their way through the lyrics. Writing the song after a breakup, 'Leave You Lonely' was written by Tara Carosielli as a reminder to herself to power on.
But, behind the sensitivity is a definite sense of strength. Everything about this performer is sultry, down from her voice to her Instagram. There is a refinery to her vocals; they are gentle and sweet whilst simultaneously holding onto a thread of desire. Working with producer KITO, the track is flourished with snapping electronica. The distortion of the vocals makes for a very cool touch, and sanctifies a chorus that will stay with you a long time after the song has finished.
'Leave You Lonely' is a sparkling debut from an artist that is beyond promising. Tara Carosielli's ever growing fan base has made room for a compelling career, and we're excited.
