Amalgamated from members of Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake and Ozzy Osbourne’s band, this outfit make no effort to stray from the predicted framework. The Dead Daisies have seemingly formed just to showcase the musical prowess of its members, rehashing an overly busy formula without edge or freshness. Including an unnecessary cover of Helter Skelter that adds nothing to the original, the EP’s screeching retro rock is fuelled by piano-driven melodies and scratchy, theatrical vocals transported straight from the ‘80s.
