Amongst the many releases for The Basics this year, this one earns its place as a spot-on representation of what you can expect from a live set of the nation's most underrated – killer musicianship, between-song banter akin to The Goodies, incredibly executed tunes and more. Opening with drummer Wally De Backer tearing out his voicebox with newie, So Hard For You, it features an array of Basics' classics (Yeah, Yeah; Just Hold On; Rattle My Chain) and a pair of Fogerty-penned classics (Proud Mary, As Long As I Can See The Light).
