Bearing his soul for the world to see Symian is a rapper coming out of Brisbane and he's premiering his new track today, titled 'Busy.' Produced by 17 year old Skarma, on which he shows off not only his skill but also his emotions, Symian gets real here.
The production on this track has an almost spooky quality to it, with synths that echo out in an ambient style before being mixed in with reverb heavy sound effects and percussion. The looming ambient synths at the start hang over the entire song. and really add some gloom and emotion to the lyrics of Symian.
Showing off a lot of emotion on this track, not only with the subject matter that he delves into, but also in his vocal delivery, Symian really shines here on ‘Busy’. This is extremely apparent in the second half of the song, where he simply pelts out his lyrics with ferocity.
Symian had this to say about the tracks subject matter:
“I wrote it in a time where I was in a nebulous relationship with someone I loved and didn’t know how to deal with it” says Symian. “Busy captured a point of growth for me as both an artist and a person, pouring out what I was feeling at the time and figuring out where I needed to go from there.”

'Busy' is a stand out track for Symian and we hope he puts out more material like this soon, as he joins the ranks of fellow up and coming Australian rappers showing the genre has a lot more to give.
