Nobody does loss and abandonment as well as Stevie Nicks and on this album of essentially love songs, she sets about her usual grievances with alacrity.

These songs were written between 1969 and 1985 and have been lovingly co-produced by long-time compatriots Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel. The result is quite successful, with songs that could have suited Fleetwood Mac well, or Nicks’ work with Tom Petty. Single, The Dealer, is classic Nicks, capturing her musical identity perfectly. Other highlights include the title track, which could have followed up the hit, Dreams.
