Beatmaker of Ratking and a talented solo artist, Sporting Life has put out the track 'Nothing to Hide' featuring the one of the rappers of Ratking, Wiki along with Blood Orange aka Devonté Hynes. This track is part of the new EP that Sporting Life is releasing on November 4th called Slam Dunk Vol. III.

Now, despite two members of Ratking being on this track, this is it's own beast. Sporting Life makes a clear impression with his production, blending funk bass with reverb soaked vocals and hip-hop drums to create an interesting mix of sounds that don't stay within one genre. There's a level of chaos to this track when musical elements come together, yet Sporting Life keeps it locked, creating and releasing tension as he chooses.

The vocals of Devonté Hynes contrast with the verses of Wiki. Whilst Hynes is singing soft echoed, melodic lines which almost melt into the beat, when Wiki raps, it's clear and loud. Both artists bring their own styles to this track without having to compromise at all, as Sporting Life finds a way to meet them both in the middle.

Sporting Life has a reputation of making crazy and unique beats, and this will likely keep going when his EP Slam Dunk Vol. III comes out on November 4th. We look forward to hearing it and anything else that he produces.
