Album Review: Spencer Burton - Don't Let The World See Your Love

There’s a soft warmth emanating from this work. From Burton’s achingly smooth vocal, to the gentle production, to the effortlessly open songwriting, Don’t Let The World See Your Love is like slipping into a warm bath. Sometimes it’s a bath of sadness, but what’s country music without a tug or two on the heartstrings? A fine example of the Americana genre; no real surprises but plenty to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Blessed Sun and A Body Is All She Ever Let Me Hold in particular are stand-out tracks.
