Live Review: L.K. McKay's instant dance classics mixtape
As a producer, you need to know what makes a good song, it's kinda your job. So in L.K MCKAY's case, with the kind of background he has, it's pretty clear he know what makes a good song.
For instance, his debut single 'Tip Toe' is a ripper. We called it "the kind of melodic dance anthem that’s made for hot, Australian summer nights (or early mornings if you’ve got the stamina for it.)"
But in the interest of fairness for all, we're letting you, the people test Luke McKay's chops, as we bring you L.K McKay's list of instant dance classics. Of course there are a few long-life classics thrown in there, but mostly this is a mixtape of some of the freshest tracks that are perfect for the dancefloor. "Probably the best song ever written. Alexander Burnett (from Sparkadia) and Doe Paoro are wonderful and you should definitely listen to them ASAP."
Dylan Stark 'Shelter'

"Been loooooving Louis's recent stuff. It's got the syncopation of Flume or Dilla, but more child-like and happy. Such vibes."

"Sometimes i find footwork to be a little tedious, but this track rox my sox."
Neon Indian 'Annie'
"The guitar work on this whole album is amazing. I'm hoping to borrow (steal) some of this guitar sound in the future."
Abelard 'I'm Okay For Now"
"Let's forget the perfect 80's retro future feels this song provides, and just remember that this guy also has a seinfeld remix called '☆ＳＥＩＮＷＡＶＥ☆２０００☆ What's the deal with airline food?' on his soundcloud. Abelard obviously rules."
Problems 'Pretending'
