Danish producer and live performer KÖLSCH has been at the top of the techno podium for a while now, and now he's back flexing his techno muscles once again with a new album.
The Danish producer and live performer is following up his 2013 album, 1977, with a new full-length which was released yesterday, 1983 . Again, it’s a chunk of grandiose and heartfelt techno that offers a nostalgic-tinged sonic journey.
He played his first Aussie shows this time last year in Melbourne and Sydney, and is already back! Kölsch is currently halfway through his latest DJ tour, hitting almost every Australian capital city for some throwback party antics. In the midst of all this, we managed to get him to offer up five tracks he's loving right now for another SoundCloud Wrap.

I’m thinking track of the summer here. Absolute killer vocal and piano track. perfect balance of subtle energy and quirkiness. A classic for sure.

Absolutely stunning remix. Perfect opener and closing track for the summer. Superflu really outdid themselves here.

Perfect balance of a great song and vibe. This record will be big for a long time to come. It’s all about the balanced production and dynamics.
Frank & Tony 'Bring The Sun' Ft Gry
Wow. This is the soundtrack for my morning coffee these days. It’s just amazing. A blend of near jazzy vocals, and looong beautiful chords. Couldn’t be better.
