"His sugar-toned voice... masks the mental strife lurking below."

More Sinkane More Sinkane

A well-travelled Englishman with Sudanese roots, Sinkane has absorbed enough disparate influences along the way that his style is very much his own.

His sugar-toned voice has the wings to soar and dive with graceful smoothness, so much so that it masks the mental strife lurking below on the likes of Deadweight as well as the suspicious indignation of Telephone, a propulsive shimmy-fest that features some small echoes of Nigerian disco king William Onyeabor. It's time this journeyman found a home in your heart.
