Silentjay is a Melbourne producer known for his collaborations with vocalist Jace XL, and he's bringing his own brand of funky dance beats into a solo project. 'The Glyde' is a track which features a lot of funk and soul influence in it's production, like with the synth bass/lead lines and smooth keyboard chords that play for a majority of the song. These smooth factors are contrasted with the broken beat distorted drums and the glitch sounds which take up most of the background of the track. The blend of sounds in this track really make for an interesting and enjoyable listening experience.

The video itself is simple but it's fitting; one still camera shot of two guys dancing to the funky rhythm of Silentjay's beat. There's something really genuine about seeing two dancers enjoy themselves.

I can't wait to hear more great beats by Silentjay from his forthcoming EP Come With Me.
