It’s been less than a year and one of Sydney’s most captivating producers, THIRD FLOOR, lead by Aaron Bannie, is back to help you shake to the heartbreak. After the visual debut Dream State EP earlier this year, Bannie is ready to explore the full spectrum of romance.

‘Can’t Do This Alone’ is an immersive journey into a failing relationship. The poignant pitched down hook is a tender cry that loops around slick production, as model Caitlyn Paterson aimlessly walks and is unaffected by the world around her. Once again, Third Floor has managed to make a seamless audio-visual work that is romantically honest yet club-ready. The video created by Yeah Sure, a Sydney-based production company who have worked with The Kite String Tangle, Indian Summer and Nicole Millar, have outdone themselves in collaborating with Third Floor in creating a sentimental ode to the messiness of breaking up.

Third Floor has been busy debuting his multi-disciplinary multi-artist audio-visual show, creating a mini-documentary with UNDR control and Yeah Sure and sharing the stage with the likes of Roland Tings, Rainbow Chain and Mo Funk. Third Floor shows no signs of slowing down his bold take on romance through sharp and atmospheric production and we hope this is just the beginning of another collection of audio-visual delights.
