A seven-foot sunflower in a veritable sea of muck, shit and dead poppies — The Salvadarlings are a breath of fresh air, the kind you have after scrambling into an airlock only escaping a xenomorph by a matter of milliseconds.
Second EP, Soda is a brilliant foray into psychedelic rock with a phenomenal degree of experimentation and an excellent command over sound, along with an ability to warp and experiment with it. Soda is an extremely strong EP, though it’s more favourable to the ear when verging on the completely experimental.
