Panacea is a vocal triumph for Brisbane songstress Sahara Beck.

The soft and sultry vocals on opener Here It Comes build to a huge finale that ultimately stands as one of the best moments on the album. The melancholic lyrics of Spinning Time are woven around a smooth chorus and catchy syncopated rhythm, while the sugary sweet Crack Bang Bang wouldn't be out of place in a vintage cabaret. Beck sings with all the wise witticisms of a world-weary blues artist, an impressive feat given her relative youth.
