There’s a magic and a mystery to this –the only danger maybe being appearing so personal it may discourage embrace.

3.5

Ms Catalano's second EP takes her further into little worlds of her own creation, her storytelling seeming to have qualities something akin to a Greenaway film. It feels like, as the main narrative is going on, there's something else going on over in one of the corners, while a bunny runs across the foreground. It often has a stateliness, her voice a wisp or an aside, as strings or plucked guitars softly swirl around her. There's a magic and a mystery to this –the only danger maybe being appearing so personal it may discourage embrace.
