Live Review: R.I.P: DJ Mehdi

It has been confirmed that French producer DJ Mehdi has passed away at the at the devastatingly young age of 34.  Mehdi Favéris-Essadi, was a main member of the French electro collective Ed Banger, and had been recently collaborating with fellow producer Riton as Carte Blanche.

Reports have spread like wildfire across social networking sites since the initial tweet from French hip-hop DJ Cut Killer.  From what we can gather Mehdi was hosting a party at his house in Paris when part of the roof collapsed and Mehdi fell to his death. A number of other people were injured.  We are still awaiting a full statement from Ed Banger Records.
