Black Butter signee and all round up and comer, WOZ is in the country right now on a huge Australian club tour. We were lucky enough to have him on this week's Purple Sneakers FBi Click show for an equally huge mix.
Ashley ‘Woz‘ Westlake first appeared on the Black Butter Records radar after his RackNRuin 'Territory' remix competition entry blew them away. Not only did he win but they were so impressed, they signed him and his debut Seen EP on the spot.
Over the past few years, Woz has been refining his unique take on bass music, creating originals that are completely his own. With influences as varied as Nils Frahm, Skream and Bodhi, the Bristol based artist is one of the most interesting artists in the scene right now. His mix is much of the same; industrial, yet refined and clean cut. It's heavy and it's perfect for an afternoon dance.
