Live Review: Grasps_ Guest Mix For Purple Sneakers On FBi Click

We're thinking that Sidechains might be our favourite Sydney crew going around at the moment, with a focus on bringing out the music, art and people that the rest of the city doesn't get to see. These dudes are creating a welcoming community for all Electronic lovers.

One of the mainstays of the group is GRASPS_. Born Christian Whitwell, Grasps_ is pretty comfortable when it comes to throwing us bangers online, but he’s also more recently been making a name for himself live. He's been taking his sound across Sydney, giving crowds an array of incredible trap to get down to. He most recently wrote a track ‘Bushido’ for Sidechains’ incredible first mixtape Sidechains Vol. 1, and has since solidified his place as an incredible up and comer. So we asked him to be a guest on the show!

Across the 30 minute mix Whitwell offers up everything you could possibly want to hear from the depths of the internet. Trap washed within anime samples, distorted hip-hop vocals, oriental beats and whatever else all the kids like. At times it's shimmering bliss, and at other times it's bass heavy blasts.
