We’re into day three and mix four of the NLV Records Takeover! If ya missed it, it’s a celebration of Australian dance icon Nina Las Vegas, and her freshly inked label, NLV Records, we invited her current roster to drop their favourite tracks our FBi Click show this week. Next up is AIR MAX '97.

It's hard to pin down the Melbourne producer to one genre, but considering that he himself has called his works as “oblique club trax,” - you know where it should be played. Air Max '97's percussive sound fits very easily into a style of music ever-growing in popularity, yet manages to remain distinctively unique all the while.

He's been championed all over the world, from Night Slugs to Liminal Sounds to Paradise Festival to some dark club you know you've seen him in - so it feels right at home to have more Air Max '97 originals on NLV Records

Although it's only five tracks long, his mix is straight fire the whole way through; featuring fast, erratic sounds, light and bouncy beats, metallic futuristic sounds, and industrial grime. Plus there's a little bit of Madonna in there for the old school fans.
