Proving herself once again, MYAMI once again sets out to impress with her new single "The Fire", premiering now on Purple Sneakers.
In a sometimes-saturated environment, it can be really hard to break through and show the world you offer something new. Enter MYAMI. Fusing RnB with electronica and pop sensibilities, she navigates a multitude of sounds flawlessly, offering up something that's a step away from the slew of others, and her latest single premiering today on Purple Sneakers, is another shining example of this.
Taking inspiration from the likes of BANKS, Kelela and more, MYAMI sits comfortably in the futuristic RnB space. She shines on "The Fire" with dynamic hip-hop production and stunning vocals. From the buzzing synth jabs to trap drums, the powerful hooks and captivating verses, MYAMI shows off her abilities in all their glory with "The Fire".
Speaking about her new track, MYAMI said it's about being your own worst enemy and having to overcome the war within. “It's about overcoming obstacles and pushing yourself to do better,” she said.
