Very recently, we heard MAKAW's debut track 'Tell Me Why', and we were captivated. New to the scene, Makaw made serious waves with that single, and now we have the exclusive on her accompanying visuals.
'Tell Me Why' is a sweet ballad that is full of emotion. It's a song about a broken relationship and how, if at all, it's able to be mended. The piano has a strong presence throughout the track and the vocals are soft but still seem to create an uneasy atmosphere, emitting the emotion for all to feel. The video is also just as raw as you might expect.
Every shot is an intimate look into the relationship of the characters who seem to both be in deep thought when they're not holding each other tightly. As with the track, it shows a broken relationship but with the smooth movements that we can now see, it makes you want to hug the person closest to you. With the storyline being brought to life, you feel more connected to 'Tell Me Why' than before, and its message will no doubt resonate with a lot of people.
The video for 'Tell Me Why' should probably be watched with a box of tissues close by but it's so beautiful that you just cannot look away. A video that perfectly encapsulates the song it represents, 'Tell Me Why' is the song that just keeps on giving.
