It's been a minute since we've heard from producers HEADSTONE and MIKEY HUNJ, but as we slowly creep closer to some warmer weather we're starting to hear some more brighter tracks, AKA this fire remix of Young Thug's hit 'Memo'.
Talking about the track itself, headstone tells us, "Young Thug has been a big inspiration for us for a long time. When we heard Slime Season 3 we knew we had to put our spin on a track, and Memo stood out to us. We've been very influenced by Jersey and Club Music lately and we really wanted to amp up the energy of the track, so this is what we came up with."
Keeping the auto-tuned vocals, headstone and Mikey Hunj inject their own styles into the heavy trap mix, combining the biggest sounds of the year with some Melbourne steeze for a massive rework. Hard-hitting would be an understatement, as they play around with the vocals and breaks to make something entirely their own.
We're loving this fun, upbeat remix, and hope to hear new music from headstone and Mikey Hunj soon.
