We at PURPLE SNEAKERS love bringing you the best new music, and we love bringing it to you first! That's why we are so excited to premiere TOBIAHS' massive take on AIRWOLF's 'Lose The Lazy' featuring STAHSI. The 16 year old has stepped up to the plate to turn the track into an all out future trap jam, complete with heaving bass, atmospheric breakdowns and pounding builds.
Airwolf is no stranger to remixes, having previously reworked the likes of Parachute Youth, Muscles and The Swiss. 'Lose The Lazy' marks a poignant time in his career as one of his best tracks; original or remixed. The summery disco jam is packed with light and fun good vibes, helping the summer season last that little bit longer. However, it seems Tobiahs had other things in mind.
Practically designed for the dancefloor, Tobiahs has demonstrated impressive and serious talent here. Starting off with echoing samples and synth chords, crisp claps come in just before huge jungle drums. The bass suddenly drops, and the track swells into a monster of unpredictable drum strikes and breakneck synth jabs.
Falling back to the ethereal beginning, the bass begins to quickly pound before the track launches right back into the fray once more. This break is repeated, giving the listener a much deserved break, albeit shortlived, before one final plunge into the huge synth bursts, vocal samples and pounding drums.
'Lose The Lazy' is out now alongside the Tobiahs remix and others by Young Franco, Pablo Calamari and a special Airwolf VIP remix on ONELOVE.
