Album Review: Plini - Handmade Cities

"...an explosive, upbeat collection of prog fusion grooves and vibrant soundscapes."

More Plini More Plini

They say time flies when you're having fun, and Plini's album zips past you.

Handmade Cities is an explosive, upbeat collection of prog-fusion grooves and vibrant soundscapes. The guitar work is prodigious, and though difficult to describe without possessing a massive level of skill behind the axe yourself, it doesn't take a trained ear to recognise this. Handmade Cities flows seamlessly from track to track and the chemistry between drummer Troy Wright, bassist Simon Grove and Plini himself is palpable. As said by Steve Vai when he witnessed Plini perform; the future of excellent guitar playing is in safe hands.
