Album Review: Pepa Night - Hypnotized Vol.1

Most of you will know Pepa Knight for his energetically appealing sitar, keys, guitar and percussion work in forest-rock group Jinja Safari.

The good news is if you’re a fan of those guys, you’ll dig this record – in fact, it sounds pretty close to identical. Knight has proved he can step away and produce solo work that sounds just as good as his band’s and that’s a great achievement. It’s a perfect summer soundtrack, but it would have been nice to see Knight experiment a little with his new project.
