"A dense profusion of skittering polyrhythms smothered in luscious synth textures and a deep bass."

Ages ago a bunch of chin strokers seemingly took IDM and made it a little too intelligent for its own good.

Impenetrable experimentation and deep abstraction saw the genre consciously shift away from futuristic space opera drawn from robotic melodies with roots in club music and early Detroit techno and electro. London outfit patten return to this early '90s sound, offering a dense profusion of skittering polyrhythms smothered in luscious synth textures and a deep bass that hovers in the mix like a UFO. Stroking us with hazy, breathy pads patten wrap us up in a satisfyingly immersive listening.
