OslowIf you’re all about lovesick emo-rock, consider Oslow the hopeless romantics outside your window in the pouring rain with a boombox.
The sound quality isn’t as bright as it could be but the musicianship is perfectly ablaze. Sydney’s grimy ether makes for great angst, and in this case, great music from these four guys, fresh out of high school. Blue On Blue sets the romantic rock tone, bringing in grunge influences on Deer In The Works, a somewhat indie/hardcore feel with Desert Dog Road, before finishing with their moody ballad Six Feet.
