"The way these guys gel their respective talents speaks volumes of their intuitive bond."
The Opal Ocean boys are back at it after last year's tantalising debut EP, but this time there's more progressive guitar noodling across 11 mesmerising tracks to sink one's teeth into.
Nadav Tabak and Alex Champ certainly found soulmates in each other when they formed in Melbourne a couple of years back - the way these guys gel their respective talents speaks volumes of their intuitive bond. This purely instrumental affair might not appeal to all, but for guitar nerds the bluesy vibes in Sleight Of Hand, flamenco-style duelling in Echoes Of Light and slaps and strums in Burnt Out are pretty gosh darn good.
